A Thankful Heart For What God Has Given Us In Christ
Accepted – Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” – (In Christ)
Blessed – Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Complete – Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” – (Complete in Christ)
Dead – Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Elevated – Ephesians 2:6 “And hath raised us up together,”
Forgiven – Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Grace – Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Heavenly – Ephesians 2:6 “and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”
Into One Body – 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body,” – (Body of Christ)
Justified – Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Knowing – Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Live – Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
We should be dwelling on what we have in Christ
We should be filled on what God has given us
Do you know what sin does in our life? Sin destroys gratitude
