The moment that you believe the gospel, God the Holy Spirit does these five things with a believer. There is no time delay after salvation.
- You were circumcised – Colossians 2:11-12
- You were regenerated – Titus 3:5 (Your dead spirit is given life)
- You were indwelt – the indwelling of the Holy Spirit – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
- You were baptized by the Spirit – 1 Corinthians 12:13
- You were sealed with the Holy Spirit – Ephesians 1:13, 4:30
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, After we are saved, what should we do with the word of truth? 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
